The Junior Holiday Camps are extremely popular for kids from 4 years and above. Tennis is a great way to stay active during the holidays (and away from the ipad!). We have a program to suit all ages, levels and abilities.
There are a variety of program lengths and types depending on the venue and time of the year. There is also a wet weather program for most programs to ensure they continue.
Mini AO Tennis Camps
MINI AO HOLIDAY CAMPS RED/ORANGE BALL (4—10 YEARS)
The Red/Orange Ball Camp is designed to help every child, no matter their age or ability, jump in and start playing tennis. We use modified equipment, including lighter racquets, lower nets and low compression balls that don’t bounce too high.
Dates: Monday 13th, Tuesday 14th and Thursday 16th January 2025
Level: Red/Orange Ball
Courts: Glendearg Malvern Tennis Club
Time: 9am—12pm
Cost/Duration: $50 per Session
MINI AO HOLIDAY CAMPS GREEN/YELLOW BALL (9+ YEARS)
Full court matchplay introduced. More advanced technical challenges presented, eg slice serve, topspin, drop shot. Specific drills for strategy and technical development.
Dates: Tuesday 14th, Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th January 2025
Level: Green/Yellow Ball
Courts: Glendearg Malvern Tennis Club
Time: 1pm—4pm

MINI AUSTRALIAN OPEN CLUB TOURNAMENT
Date: Friday 17th January 2025
Time: 11:30am—3pm
The Junior Club Championships is an event at Glendearg which will be open to all junior members from our own club and other clubs.We will be running both a green and yellow ball tournament on the day.
All participants receive a certificate at the end of the session. The overall winner in both the Green and Yellow Ball categories will receive the Glendearg Malvern TC Trophy.
